The Bright World of Metals continues to develop its position of international leader

Publié le 23 July 2019

After five particularly fruitful days, the “Bright World of Metals” trade show closed its doors on Saturday 29th June after reaffirming its position as international leader and the world’s leading professional event dedicated to metallurgy and foundry. The many investments, spontaneous commercial transactions, animated discussions and expertise shared between exhibitors and visitors generated a particularly dynamic atmosphere in the twelve exhibition rooms at the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre. GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS & NEWCAST enjoyed resounding success with both exhibitors and visitors and international numbers increased compared to the previous shows: 70% for exhibitors (2015: 65%) and 66% for visitors (2015: 62%).

The key to success: an international approach and keen decision-making

With nearly 2,360 exhibitors from all over the world, GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS & NEWCAST cover almost the entire international market. Over the show’s five days, the exhibition halls welcomed nearly 72,500 visitors from 118 countries. The demand for European metallurgy and foundry techniques is huge, particularly from other continents.

Once again, the four trade shows dedicated to metallurgy confirmed their role as drivers of trends and innovations. The major themes of additive manufacturing and Industry 4.0 were the common themes in the exhibition halls and incited great interest with professional visitors. But the topics of energy efficiency and resource preservation also made a big impact.

The 2019 edition of the NEWCAST trade show was excellent for LA FONTE ARDENNAISE. With over 130 new contacts, the company successfully promoted its expertise and involvement in new technologies.

Many thanks to our customers and suppliers who visited us this year. We look forward to seeing you in June 2023 for the next edition.
